Tim Hastings

Tim is the founder of Ford Hastings, which he set up in 2003 to provide board-level search, interim recruitment and board advisory services. For more than 25 years he has worked with business owners, senior management teams, investors and advisers to build stronger boards, plan succession and prepare businesses for investment, sale or exit.

Since 2017 he has also been an Operating Partner at gunnercooke llp, the professional services firm. As a non-executive director and active investor in Mo University Assistant, a mobile app for students, he helped prepare and manage the company's sale to UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) in 2020. He was a Programme Partner at Helm (formerly The Supper Club), the membership club for fast-growth entrepreneurs, and worked on board search and deal origination at Axiomlab PLC, a technology investor listed on AIM (the Alternative Investment Market).

Earlier in his career Tim was a Principal Consultant at KPMG and a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young. He joined The NHMS Board of Advisors in October 2026.
