— Barry Shrier, Founder
  • The National Health and Medical Services (NHMS) has been established with the aim of improving the health and well-being of UK citizens by empowering NHS hospitals to deliver better outcomes at lower cost.

  • No The NHMS is not a private equity fund. We are launching a buy-and-build model to grow, and importantly we are first and foremost a “people business” and industry architect. We believe value creation is based on empowering our teams and sharing sucess. We are looking to scale a national group of NHS Hospital suppliers to deliver maximum career opportunities for our teams, maximum value to our NHS Hospital customers, and market beating returns to our stakeholders

  • Our vision is to make a difference in healthcare.

We aim to help architect a better NHS Hospital procurement ecosystem, thus enabling hospitals to save money, and empowering clinicians to achieve better health outcomes at lower cost.

Our commercial goal is to create a £375 million enterprise value group of companies, by developing a buy and build strategy consolidating 55 companies (NHS Hospital suppliers) over 5 to 7 years.

  • Hospitals are currently overwhelmed by managing thousands of individual vendors. NHMS helps by providing a consolidated, multicategory service that allows hospital procurement teams to manage fewer suppliers more efficiently.
